Amy and Ashley Farrell, Manager of Equestrian Operations at Salamander Resort & Spa
A Weekend of Equestrian Delight in Middleburg, Virginia: Amy and Stacy Butewicz visit the Upperville Colt & Horse Show and Salamander Resort.
Amy and Stacy enjoyed a charming and memorable visit to Middleburg, Virginia, to attend the renowned Upperville Horse Show. During their stay, they were guests at the beautiful Salamander Resort & Spa, where they took the opportunity to explore the resort’s equestrian facilities.
While visiting the stables, Amy and Stacy had the pleasure of meeting Ashley Farrell, the manager of the resort’s equestrian program. They learned about the resort’s unique approach to introducing newcomers to the world of horses, the selection process for the horses in their program, and the variety of riding available to guests. The serene morning stroll through the stunning barn, coffee in hand, provided a perfect start to their day and a wonderful experience.
In addition to the equestrian adventures, Amy and Stacy explored the charming town of Middleburg (a previous place of residence for Stacy). They enjoyed breakfast at Upper Crust Bakery, savored their favorite coffee at Common Grounds, and dined at their beloved restaurant, Tremolo. The highlight of their visit was watching the Hunter Derby at the horse show, where their trainer, Chad Keenum of CK Sporthorses, competed.
Their experience in Middleburg was a testament to the area’s rich equestrian culture and warm hospitality, leaving them with cherished memories and a deeper appreciation for the local equestrian community.
