A beautiful spring morning kicked off the Floral Design class with Dana Point Design LLC at Homestead Princeton, located at 300 Witherspoon Street!
Participants purchased tickets which included a ‘GurglePot’ and design guidance. Gurgle pots have many uses but today they were used as our vases!

Our instructor, Alison, who holds a certificate from the New York Botanical Garden’s Floral Design Program shared some great tips and secrets with us. We had a really relaxing time trying a new skill.

After that, we stepped over to Sakrid Coffee Roasters, which shares a hallway with Homestead. The lattes and chais are some of the best you will try! We even enjoyed a Lavender donut which was the perfect tasty treat!
We highly suggest stopping at Homestead! They have such wonderful gifts, custom/handmade furniture, window treatments and so much more. The store is like something out of a magazine and the owners and staff are just exceptional!
